If Parise goes to Pittsburgh there's no way Brodeur re-signs with the Devils. He wants to win another one and without their best player the Devils will again struggle to make the playoffs.

Why do we want Hudler, again? There's no connection there. Small, doesn't elevate his game in the post-season. I'd make room for someone like Penner, but what's Hudler going to bring that Regin (if healthy) won't?

Similar to Alfie, I expect Brodeur to complete his career with one team. I'm not sure where else he could go if he wants a cup (Chicago, maybe).

Hudler? He is a poor man's version of Parise but Ottawa's interest will come down to what the coach thinks of Hudler, whom he coached for several years.

Regin?

Parise and Hudler are in different classes. Poor man's version = some similarities but one is nowhere near as good as the other.

Still, I think Hudler could be a nice fit for Ottawa but I wouldn't plan a parade route because the Sens, or any other team, sign him.

I fully understand that it's Eklund, and therefore garbage, but this is an interesting take:

On Jagr...

I keep hearing the Oilers, and it makes a TON of sense. What Jagr did for a young Giroux this past season was more valuable than his on-ice performance. Jagr teaches good players how to be great players.
