Caps up 4-0 on the Panthers with under a minute to go.

Flyers-Isles tied 0-0 in OT.

Flyers/Isles now in the shootout. Pens have come back to tie the Habs. Leafs tied 1-1 with Jets on Kessel's 30th.

I guess we can blame "Smelliott" for the loss. Just like old times... Beer

Auld was pretty good, maybe he's earned a start.

Doubtful since he played pretty much the whole game. I think he looked decent though.

I'm not one to toot my horn....I just hope to hell pmac starts auld next game. Give anderson the break already.

This loss is on andy and karlsson. Huge mistakes by both these guys. I could see the life sucked out of the boys after that 2nd goal. And then again after karlsson's gaffe.

This is a sad sad team to watch right now. No breaks whatsoever, they come out flying yet get scored on the first shot they face. Sad.

Call up Da Costa, he's earned it.

Those Blues forwards are massive when you see them live. Jesus...and Nashville will grind us to death. Things are not great. This loss is on Mac for starting Anderson for the 1000th straight game.

Glad we can all agree Sarcasm

Sorry, but I am just annoyed (with certain people) that just can't accept other people's views, and make them feel insignificant when they offer a realistic view of what they see. It's frustrating that when I say things like the Sens aren't a good team, they need a lot of improvements, won't make playoffs, etc that it is somehow concluded that I know nothing about hockey.

Dude, you don't have an argument beyond "I'd like us to try really hard but not win and always draft in the to 5 because drafting in the top 5 is the key to winning. Also, if we could win and pick in the top 5 at the same time, that's be super." That's not a splash of cold water on a bunch of homers, it's you living in a fantasy land.

But whatever, you've clearly got it all figured out. Clearly, teams are built once a year, over one weekend, and not game in & game out, on the ice, at the draft, & through trade. Also, shifting from a losing culture to a winning one is easy, like flipping a switch. Also also, losing doesn't effect ticket sales, attracting FAs, or holding on to good young players -- let's forget that PIT almost lost their team during that period of sucking. Also also also, there's no need to worry about now when you can always look to a future that is about-to-become but which never-quite-is. Yay! I feel enlightened!

Hey, where'd my team go?

But it's not just certain people not accepting other people's views! You know my history with Rooney is not all truffles and strawberries, but his point was the Sens were 6th or 5th after half a season, and now they've lost 6. You are *completely* discounting what they had done in 40+ games and then pointing at the last 6 (or even the last 10) and saying, essentially, "See, see? That's what I expected them to do, and they are doing it, so I must be right." When they were 1 point out of 1st in the Division I certainly don't recall you coming here and saying "That's not what they are, they will lose."

You know your Dung is Cussed up when I have this guy backing me. Laugh1

I'd say so. As much as you want to get Anderson right back in there, because he's your #1 and you want his confidence up, the Sens played a different, less complaisant game with Auld behind them. Hell, after you've lose 7 in a row, I can't see the harm in trying.

Ironically, I don't think they're playing all that poorly right now. You know you're in a losing streak, however, when none of your chances go in & every single mistake you make ends up in the back of your net. It's uncanny at this point.

Leafs lost, too. To Winnipeg. Small consolation, but I'll take it.
