I try not to make judgments from games like this.

That being said, I stand by what I said about Kuba and Spezza.

If pre-season mattered, Lawson would be opening day starter over Price

Putting anyone on this site in net instead of Anderson for the shootout would have made no difference. Guy looked completely lost.

Spezza is awesome, he makes stuff happen out there. Wicked behind the back pass to Butler in the 3rd.

Kuba is turrible, I wish Borowiecki or Wiercioch were closer to being ready.

Alfie looked great for a 38 year old who hasn't played in 7 months. He's got some speed and I see flashes of the Alfie I know. Good to hear training camp hasn't killed him, hopefully his back holds up.

Da Costa is real good.

Butler played like a real butler out there.

Agree to disagree to a certain degree. he needs to pick better spots to do those tricks. And not make it so blatantly awful like in Overtime.

Anyways, I'm surprised OT ended without a penalty shot to michalek. It's preseason so I'm not gonna throw too many ppl under the bus...hehe

First off, Kuba sucks, as we all saw. Second, Weircioch's time is up after one more game if not tonight. Tough game for Pageau too, I imagine he's done.

Hoffman looked good tonight. Made some nice moves and created some chances on a versatile line with Condra. DaCosta had a good game, but let's see how Regin looks now with Alfie and Michalek (da man tonight).

It's preseason onl¥, I"m not too hung up on Anderson OR even spezza...but dear god just waive Kuba already. Better chance of getting rid of him on re-entry.

Considering how many points he contributes to the other teams, one of them may as well pay half his salary

Unless the sens secretly want to tank, he really shouldn't make it out of pre-season. That'll open up a spot for Rundblad too. I don't know, maybe we're being too harsh but he's got to make some improvements FAST!

Yeah he had a solid game. Looked much more dynamic than we've seen before.

Having Karlsson, Filatov, Michalek, and Da Costa on the team will give us some dynamic players to force other teams to contend with. It's awesome to see that we finally have some skill.

Yeah for sure. Filatov has some mad skill too. Very dynamic lineup and that's not counting Regin (who's looked great), Spezza, Alfie, Zibanejad.

Filatov looks like he's not used to playing with passers as I wish he'd shoot more.

He had a few good oppurtunities but it seems the pass to him always hit a player or stick on the way.

He should get better the more he plays, he hasn't played in months as he was injured in the AHL last year.

He's not the one dimensional, enigmatic, lazy non-caring Russian player that the Sun told me he was.

How did Karlsson look? I missed the whole game.

Usual awesomeness, some excellent pinches and passes but being paired with kuba didn't Help his defensive game
