He shouldn't be thinking with them, though. Too much and too long. They don't need someone who can win in the regular season, and this guy has an iffy playoff record. His playoff SV% starts at .944 (2006), then slides down in the next three appearances to .922, .906, .879. His last two playoff years were the last two years (2010 and 2011) so he hasn't had a *good* playoff performance since 2007. Unlike the elites in this league, he doesn't elevate his play after the paychecks stop coming. But they're stuck with him now for 7 years (if he's not stellar they won't be able to move him at the salary in his first 7 years). His character was also showing when he said he wouldn't play in Winnipeg (and that .879 in the first round sweep says a lot, too). When the going doesn't go his way, he mails it in.
Too many red flags to make a deal *this* long for this much.
