And to think people questioned me when I said I would be hesitant to pay a defensive defenceman who should be a mid pairing guy $3+M and sign him to 7 yrs lol.

Again, he's a loveable guy, does a lot for Ottawa, he and his wife are great Phill-anthropists but you have to separate business from personal life.
