P.S. I worked like a b*st*rd today and got a bunch of projections into the UPP, so I should be good to go. Well, at least as far as the skaters go. Don't have much on the goalies yet.

I just got an e-mail saying the draft starts at 10PM. So it's officially moved (or did I just somehow get invited to another one)?

I just logged onto the livedraft site, and it does indeed start at 10 pm. And marakh has first pick apparently.

ya i just noticed it's for 10 PM. i made my predictions, i'll be in bed at that time. hope it works alright, i'm not a fan of not doing this one after the other and it being done automaticaly.

There is no time limit. You can make your picks in the morning. We have nearly 4 weeks to get this done, so as long as we can find a few slots here and there when everyone is around we'll be fine. Seriously, if we put aside a couple of lunch hours we'd be done.

Because of the second assist.

But what was your question? Did you mean the NHL or the pool? And slanted how? Salaries? Points in the pool? A straight points pool is not slanted at all. In fact, if you add a salary cap then you're probably better off getting a setup man rather than a pure scorer (lower $/point ratio, usually).

no, the way i understand it is you have to make your ranking ahead of time. if you don't they'll use their ranking to make your picks.

Umm, Houston, do we have a problem? Anyone know for sure?

Also, are we *really* going to pick 12F+7D+3G? The first post says 9+4+2, which is a lot more manageable. Or am I reading too much into the draft page roster (that's the one that shows 12F slots, 7D and 3G).

No, you make your own picks. You can rank your own players IF YOU WANT, so then you wouldn't have to fllow their rankings and projections when picking your players.

Also, I think you can queue up some players and set it on autopilot if you are not going to be there and want to move the draft along.

and yes it's 12 forwards, 7 D, and 3 G
