It's like reading KISS lyrics.

Agreed. Let's not pretend Horton is a hart trophy winner or something. A 1st rounder, plus a decent d-man, and another draft pick. This is a pure rebuilding move and I think a good one. Almost a fair trade I'd say, but notch this to the Panthers by a nose.

Hmmm, I don't see it, never have personally.

Maybe this is a baseball joke?

Oh, maybe yeah.

I like it from Boston's perspective as well, Horton makes them a very scary team, more so then before.

You almost forget that they are adding Hall/Seguin as well and have Colborne in the ranks too. They can also trade Thomas for a nice return as well.

Boston's gonna have a formidable forward crop of Seguin/Hall, Horton, Saverd, Krejci, and Bergeron with Rask up the pipe. Their D is thin though

Meh with Thomas, look what Halak got, Thomas is a 5 million dollar goalie on the downturn of his career and is currently the backup, if they get a 5th they will be lucky.

Boston might have to consider waiving or buying out Thomas.

Really? You don't think he's got trade value? I know there are a lot of goalies available, but there aren't many Vezina winning goalies available.

Baseball joke? Naw I meant he is a good hitter like Volchenkov, but with better offense. Still not a great puck-mover.

i'm sure someone will pick-up thomas.

Boston isn't going to be any fun to play against next year.
