Man Florida is gonna get Gudbranson or Gormley, and then get a good forward...good move for them as well.

Boston doesn't necessarily win. Horton is a massive underachiever.

weird....dreger didn't mention something like this at all. That's a good deal for Florida IMO.

Get rid of an unhappy player, get a decent d-man and an extra first rounder. Sounds about right for a rebuild

Im starting to think Wideman is a tad overrated though, he was just plain awful last season.

Tallon, you must have a master plan behind the scenes, sure horton was unhappy, but he would have still played there. could have gotten a much better return.

There's potential that he can find his game in florida. Salary is so-so. They'll probably ship another d-man out (ballard?). Plus there's another draft pick coming florida's way....I don't see how this is bad for the panthers.

Why would Horton get a much bigger return? He's never done anything to justify that.

Why Wideman unless he's shopping Ballard. No other way to look at it.

McCabe = puck-mover, all around D-man
Ballard = puck mover, all around D-man
Kulikov = puck mover
and now Wideman as well?

And Wideman at 4 million bucks?

Crazy.

You're right. Ballard will be dealt I'm sure. But Florida won't go for spezza...right?
