I think Euro 2004 was their best shot, but when you have the best player in the world on your team (I know I'll get some backlash for that 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa - Page 3 270956) then you have a shot every game.

Unfortunately they are in a heck of a group and will probably be stuck playing Spain in the 2nd round (if they make it all all). The very best I see them doing is a quarter-final appearance, but I hope I'm proven wrong.

I'm not sure about the prostitution scandal, but it wouldn't surprise me. You'd have to be paid to have sexy time with this man.

Ireland, me too. I am Irish, so the Hand of God V2 goal was tough to watch.

Man, a slew of injuries today.

Drogba out of the WC with a broken arm (meaning Portugal SHOULD advance out of the group of death for sure now).

Rio Ferdinand out of the WC with ligament damage in his knee.

Andrea Prilo out for at least the first game with a calf injury.

They're dropping like flies!
