Ah, of course. Thanks for the clarification.

Wayne on the back of that truck looked pretty sad, trying to decide whether to risk his life by letting go of the rail to attempt a feeble wave at the crowds. And why the hell do we have protesters at every opportunity? This is the *Olympics* for crying out loud. Nations used to suspend war efforts to attend and compete; surely, no matter how worthy the cause, this is not the platform!

No no it was Wayne as the odd one out since he was lighting the primary one.

Well, that explanation works, too. I don't remember him ever taking it out of its holder, though.

Regardless of that, though, who did they get to design it, Roger Taillibert?

Sad

Jokes are alot funnier if you don't have to explain them. Sort of takes the edge off. The Official GMHockey 2010 Winter Olympics Thread - All Talk Here! - Page 7 270956 The Official GMHockey 2010 Winter Olympics Thread - All Talk Here! - Page 7 270956

Canada's women's team is in a nail biter with the Slovaks.

6-0 so far and scoring at will....

Looks like this will be a 4 horse tournament again this time.

No, Jennifer Heil goes for gold in about an hour in Freestyle Skiing (Moguls).

Olivier Jean, fell in the 1500M short track (same distance as Hamelin) but was clipped, and the officials advanced him. So he'll be in the final race.

Frig!

Jennifer Heil gets beaten (soundly, by a full point) by the last skier. Silver for Jenn. Congratulations to Jenn!

Still looking for that elusive gold on home soil....

When do the luge dudes go? As bad as it sounds, that's something I'm gonna have to watch. That and hockey of course.

I'm not sure when. I've only heard it's delayed so organizers can add safety precautions.
