At Tuff-n-Lite Hockey we’re passionate about hockey.
We play the game and know that serious injuries can happen from skate blades.
Because of our passion and our concerns, we have created innovative cut
resistant garments which are worn to protect areas that are not fully protected by
equipment. CutShield offers comfort, coolness and protection to all levels of
hockey players.

Our material is ounce for ounce up to 15 times stronger than steel. Not only is
it stronger than garments made from commonly used aramid fibers such as
Kevlar and Twaron, CutShield garments will not compromise their
strength when wet or exposed to ultra violet sunlight. Unlike other
high strength fiber fabrics, the protective Cut Level will not diminish its level of
performance when in contact with perspiration or common household bleaches.

CutShield cut-resistant garments are a lightweight, breathable armour that
are as soft and flexible as cotton with moisture removing properties that keep
you nice and dry. All our garments have Tuff-n-Lite Cool technology you can feel
due to the dense thread we use which conducts heat. To prevent odour and
fungus, we treat all garments with Micro-Texpur - a safe and non-toxic
antimicrobial and antibacterial product that gives you added protection from
dangers you can’t see.
