Glad he's taken off the first line. Spezza is a huge liability out there right now. Got demoted and looks like the old Spezza... we'll see what Spezza The Sens really have over the next few weeks Im sure.

I thought the Caps were gonna score on that PP and that would've been it to be honest. But...alas...we killed it off... Ahhhhh!

Clouston has guys that need some icetime, there's no reason to overplay Spezza - especially if he's hurting.

I don't see why Spezza isn't given a few days off, he obviously needs them. Why let the problem progress, it's not like he's helping the team with his presence

I question if he's hurting... it's not like he hasnt played like this before totally healthy, say for the last 6 years.

Really hope it's just one really bad game because he is no where near a PPG player at this point and he cant afford to not be nearly perfect on the defensive end.

I think he is injured just by judging his willingness to improve at the beg of the season but the fact that he said he wasnt 100% when he came back. But regardless, some time off will help injury or not

Yeah, well it's not un-Spezza like to quit when things are not going his way. He's only done it since Jr. Not gonna pass judgement right now but this is a very bad sign looking at how he is competing.

I think the question going forward for the next little while will be, "who is Ottawa's number 1 Center?". Right now it's Fisher without a doubt.

lol I think that's been established since the first three games or so. Spezza will come around, he has his streaks and I agree his biggest problem is just giving up and not caring when things don't go his way but I have a feeling that won't sit well with CC. He'll come around
