Who takes that center position with Michalek and Cheechoo? Regin? Kelly? Gonna be interesting. My vote is Regin for sure, but we'll see how it all shakes out.

Opportunity for Regin to step up and keep Shannon in the lineup. Plus give Spezza time to heal... which is okay against Nashville I think. Losing a star player might keep the boys focused.

Regin for sure.

Hmm... strange. Brent Wallace via twitter just 20mins ago confirms Spezza is good to go tonight and Leclaire will be in net.

I know. You ever notice how Jason Portuondo looks like the lid of his skull was removed and replaced by another that's the wrong size?

What the heck? Someone's wrong, is it 1200 or Wallace?

Wow, look at Jamvan's lineup from TSN. Donovan sits so Shannon can play. Shocking (but ultimately what I'd do for now). Neil should play 4th line though, with Regin centering Foligno and Shannon on line 3 - rock and roll there!

Regin's such a good player as well - one of my new favourites (along with the great MM and Snoopy of course).

If Leclaire is starting tonight I can't see them putting Elliott in vs. Boston. I guess the Team1200 was wrong or plans have changed. I know Boston is struggling right now and are missing a big chunk of their offense but putting Elliott in on Saturday night vs. Boston sends the wrong message all around doesn't it?

1 - It tells Boston that we don't think you're good enough to face our number 1

2 - Or it tells Leclaire that we think Elliott should face a division rival, at home, on a Saturday instead of playing him. Does that send the wrong message to Leclaire?

Now I just had another co-worker tell me that Spezza and Regin were in and that Donovan was out...I don't understand. I'll try to get to the bottom of it.

Ya, reading way too much into that one for sure.

Wow, conflicting reports. Here is the link from teh Citizen saying Spezza and Leclaire are in fact playing today, updated 15 minutes ago.

Dono gets the short end of the stick all the time. He'll be fine. He'll suck it up and wait for his turn again. It's too bad because everyone loved that 4th line. What is Shannon gonna do down there anyway right?

Hopefully Leclaire goes tonight because I think that's the most logical thing to do from a hockey point of view. Get him in there and get going again.

TSN is usually gold with their Ice Chips.

Really, does it matter who we put in net? I'm confortable with both these guys, but I must say; I love watching LeClaire play.
