Kovalev needs to convert on that kind of a gimmie goal.

EDIT: Just had another look at it and that puck was bouncing on his stick. Tough puck to handle. I'll give him a mulligan.

Though the Sens are down 2-1 right now, I submit that they're playing a good game. There is lots of pressure on Fleury and it really looks like this is a team primed to breakout offensively. I just hope the process begins in earnest today.

I'm a believer, but I'm not sure how his unusual rebound control style is going to play out. He gets way out of his crease to challenge and gives up monster rebounds to a gaping net. Unless he's doing it intentionally, recognizing that no one is there at the time, it's gonna be trouble.

Hello Patty Lalime... That shot should never go in. Not the best showing from Leclaire on that one. Nice shot, nonetheless.

These things happen, but there are definite holes in Leclaire's game that are being overlooked by anyone who is convinced already.

Is it just me or are the Sens far less physical tonight than they have been thusfar in this young season?

i am not completely convinced but i think he can be key i will give him a bit more time he seemed to be getting better each game he did miss almost the entire season last year he is bound to make a few mistakes like that for the first while

Other than the PK, they're not playing good at all. You don't not let in 3 goals and miss on an empty net like that when you're playing good

Have you seen how those goals went in? the only bad play there was Leclaire on the Kennedy shot, and it was an awesome shot.
As for the empty net, the puck was bouncing everywhere.
