Michalek gets a goal and the Pens tie it up right after.

Is it just me, or is Leclaire coming out of his crease a lot to challenge. I have no problem with it if he's successful, but it seems that he gives up some serious rebounds. Luckily no one has been there to pot it in the open net.

I'm thinking one of two things are happening. Either he does it the way he does when he recognizes that no one is there to take the rebound, or we're gonna be in trouble as a result of this style at some point.

That was a beauty play by Cheech and Michalek though... Too bad, Pens had to tie it right after like that...

But man what a play!

Such a sweet set up by Cheech on the Michalek goal. He really looks to be getting his confidence back.

Rough period for Picard and Campoli. It hasn't cost them yet, though. Hopefully they pick it up in the 2nd.

And can anyone explain the workings of Donovan? He is a gem for 3-4 games straight then he's useless. I expect one of Regin or Winchester back in his place for Thursday's game.

Everything about that play was fantastic. I just wish they'd fix that glitch in the boards that cost us a goal.

Poor Toronto is having a tough go again this game. I actually feel bad for them right now. On pace for an 0-4-1 start.

Kovalev needs to convert on that kind of a gimmie goal.

EDIT: Just had another look at it and that puck was bouncing on his stick. Tough puck to handle. I'll give him a mulligan.
