Leafs have put the Monster on IR due to a groin injury.

I don't know if it's been brought up but apparently that is the first time the Sens have had a penalty shot goal end up being the game winner. Kinda fitting it turned out to be the Captain who took the shot just by chance due to Michalek requiring repairs. The "Monster" is on IR; Joey Macdonald re-called 15281

think people are giving this guy too much credit because of his nickname....he's nothing special as far as NHL calibre goalies go...if Leaf fans are thinking he's some kind of Playoff-Making Saviour, they better not hold their breath!

Seriously! The team he played for and "Ripped it up" for in Sweden was a defence first "NJ Devils" type team where he wasn't tested nearly as much he will be now...

just sayin....

Leafs Suck. Smile

I wonder how long it takes for the Toronto fans to say this nagging injury is why they lost on Tuesday, would seem like something they would do.

BWAHAHAHAHA! How sweet would that be?

Actually, I don't think anyone can since it would be for an injury replacement wouldn't it be? Or does he still go through waivers for that?

How much would that suck? And when I say suck, I mean RULE.
