Alright all, I realize we won, so it's all just info, but how was the game? I listened to the last period on the Team, but didn't get to watch more than a few seconds on the streaming sites.

Maybe I'm a little over happy for the win but here's what I think

1) Leclaire was solid, I really wanted his first for us to be a shutout
2) Defense was muuch better, Volchenkov had the game of his life
3) The whole team played with more energy especially in the second
4) Im liking Michalek more and more but him and Spezza still need some more time
5) Michalek is insanely speedy and this will probab not be the last penalty shot he draws
6) Foligno may not be finishing like he should but his battles on the board are priceless and very efficient

AND WE WON!!!! WHOHOHOOOO

Sounds like Donovan impressed as well. How was he other than the goal?

Breakdown?

Started slow, both teams kinda scared (normal after what happened saturday night for both teams). Sens starting getting dirty in the 2nd and scored 2 fast goals. Foligno with Kovalev looks good in the 3rd. Spezza line invisible, but they get Volchenkov and Philips every time... 4th line did the job. Leclaire very solid.
I say good coaching from Clouston, and the guys starting to find some good chemistry. We need someone to step up as a sniper htough. Many good plays but still very peripheral.

Leclaire sounded really solid in the 3rd, especially in the last minute. Thoughts?

I noticed him right away. He's playing like he's posessed , I love it.
