OK. Alternatively then give Spezza the "A", if he's shown he deserves it, after Phillips has been named Captain. Phillips retires and Spezza gets the "C".

This is getting tiresome. Just name the damn Alternates already Clouston. It's not life or death here. It's not gamesmanship that'll affect anything in terms of how other teams match up against us. Seriously what's the hold-up?
