I believe The Score had him at 47. 57 for Hockey News and 54 for ESPN are the highs.

I'll stick with The Score...and not just because their number is closest to mine GM Hockey Fantasy Pool Round 12 - Page 6 Icon_smile

No one? :^^^^: I don't know, their blueline is awesomely pedestrian. They use Rolston as their PP QB I think.

The problem with Grebs is that last year he took over when Visnovsky got hurt, so it made his point totals look better than they should. But - at the very least, he's planted the seed for Quinn and Renney to look at him a little more on the PP.

Well, PuckPassion, for what that's worth, thinks he's the best offensive D-man on the Oilers after the top pairing. He thinks if there are any injuries on the top pairing the Denis will top 40 this year.

Looking over on TSN's ranking of the top-250, they have Thornton at #6. I picked him as the 8th forward in this draft, so I feel pretty good. The only (at-the-time unpicked) forward projected higher was Backstrom (by 4 points) but with the trade of Heatley I think that little gap will close.

So, basically, I am very happy with my 1st round pick; especially so after the trade. The other picks, well, we shall see.

We have a bit of a situation (and, no, I am not referring to Dash being on at 8AM and not leaving a pick).

When I picked Luke Schenn for Clutch at the end of the previous round, I did not realize (and obviously did not check) that he already had 4 defensemen.

It's a little late to undo and re-draft, so what I am proposing is that we return Luke Schenn to the list of undrafted players and pick a forward for Clutch. I'm not at all interested at undoing all the trades that happened in-between. If someone coveted Schenn but now will have to wait 15-20 picks to hope to grab him again, frankly, I pity you; however you have the right to object.

For the record, I'm going with the highest projected point average for the next forward (projections from Rotowire, The Score, ESPN, Hockey News, PoolPro, Puck Junkie and Hockey:Le Magazin). That forward is, unfortunately, Zherdev. He is quite likely to end up in the KHL -- and we're not counting point totals from there, I don't care if they count secondary assists or not. The next one on the list is Jiri Hudler. Umm, I see a pattern.

OK, for real now, the next name on the list would be Drew Stafford (funny, I thought he was taken, or someone sent him in a list of picks -- but I can't find it).

Plus, no offense, but Luke Schenn has no offence.

Counting myself and Clutch, that's four yes votes (or at least four "Yeah, whatever") votes. I'll give it at least until Dash's pick. If Dash wants Stafford then Clutch will get Wolski.

I don`t think anyone would object, serisouly at this round if you're gonna cry for something like that, you must be a projection guru.

Oh yeah their D-corps is nice given how they have virtually no name on it. I'm hopeful that because Murphy wasn't there last year, he'll get a chance to man the point on the 1st unit. Maybe he won't supplant Rolston, but there are two spots on a blueline GM Hockey Fantasy Pool Round 12 - Page 6 Icon_wink

I OBJECT! I NEEDED Schenn to guarantee myself another 15 points!!! I demand that we dissolve the draft and START OVER!!!! GM Hockey Fantasy Pool Round 12 - Page 6 605651
