Almost a thrid of the way through this round. Remember, when we get to MOI we are officially past the half-way point for the entire pool.

If he sticks with Kovalchuk he's going to push 70 again. Good pick ... possibly.

MurderOnIce takes Alex Burrows.

I'll take ... Teemu Selanne.

Nice pick prags. If he stays healthy, he's still good for 80.

nope. And if he plays 82 games, he'll get prags no less than 70 points. I couldn't pick him because I don't trust his health.

Old guys...

I read on some blog a couple of days ago that he actually said he wants to play another *2* years. That pricked my ears up. If he wants to go two, he must have more left in the tank. Then just earlier today I was e-mailing back and forth with another poolie and he said that some Ducks rookie was skating with him and said he couldn't believe the kind of great shape Teemu was in. That solidified the pick for me.

Plus he's younger than me; I draw the line at guys like Chelios and certain others. Although I seriously considered the certain other but decided to go with a forward.

Yeah both would have been decent picks, but I think you made the right one. Even if he only plays half the season, Teemu will get as many points....

We started round 8 after 1PM and managed to get through 13 picks before the day ended. There's still a chance that TheAvatar shows up later, and if Dash is around then we''probably get to at least 16 (SpezD stays up late). And with any luck, pgood is here or sent picks, and Tuk frequently stay sup till 3.
