Yep, and in you come with more negative stories. Right back on track.

You're still here, THATS AWESOME!

Will you please use the ignore? Please?

Like really, you can avoid it and so can Notch.

How do I do that? Please tell me quickly...

I have been told a few things from people close to the situation, who say Heatley wants to be the man. The Sens will never be "Heatley's" team and of course, there's the fact he doesn't agree with CLouston's philosophy.

quote]

I am not close to the situation but from afar it seems as straightforward as Jamvan says. Excerpt from July 10 article in Citizen by Wayne Scanlan

"When I was in Switzerland to cover the world championship, I had a chance to speak to Heatley about the fan response he receives in Europe, especially in Switzerland, where he played briefly during the lockout. He is THE most admired Canadian player abroad ... at least he was on the recent worlds team. It's different in Ottawa. The "old guard," Heatley said, referring specifically to Alfredsson, Mike Fisher and Chris Phillips, own the town. He and Spezza hadn't been here long enough."

rooneypoo wrote:For the record, I only provided the link the The Universal Cynic because I am starting to get concerned that there is some other locker-room drama that might be part of the source of problem, re: Heatley's desire to get out.

I didn't say "Sens are into drugs, etc."; I said "I hope this doesn't have anything to do with silly or petty personal Dung, like it did last time, with the drugs."

All this further supports my theory that Heatley not speaking a word is being done to avoid hurting the team as much as himself. We've been quick to demonize Heatley around here, but imagine how much more damage he could do to the organization if part of the problem turns out to revolve around some of this silly high school drama stuff? Yuck.

That's not how I took it. I took your post as that of an unbiased observer. Strictly just notifying us of what Universal Cynic wrote, and not condoning nor disagreeing with what was written.

But I, personally, felt that the tone of the blog was inferring the "drug" use, without saying as much.

Oh, the blog was certainly suggesting "rampant" drug use... must have been written by Watters.

When I first skimmed it I could have sworn he actually mentioned Watters by name, but reareading, this is what he said:

However, it should be noted that certain members of the traditional
media have been flapping their gums off-the-record about the Heatley
drama, and what they're saying is not far off from we've been reading
on sites like HFBoards.

It's fairly obvious for those who have been reading this stuff what he means, but other than calling it "heavy stuff" he comes nowhere near saying anything.

Is this guy a politician?

By the way, in heraldry "rampant" means:

Rearing on the left hind leg with the forelegs elevated, the right above the left, and usually with the head in profile.

Like this:
