The St. Louis Blues have re-signed defenceman Roman Polak.
Polak, 23, played in 69 games last year for St. Louis, and scored one goal and 14 assists. The 6'0", 232 lb. native of Ostrava, Czech Republic will be entering his second full season NHL season.
"Roman played his best professional season this past year," said Blues president John Davidson. "He's a solid young defenceman who is continuing to grow and will play a huge role with our team."
Polak, 23, was originally a sixth-round pick by the Blues in 2004.
