Since this is "technically" my "home" team, I propose a name change..The 'Ducklings' are the easy way... I propose:

Anaheim Quackers
Anaheim Anatidaes (for science-buffs)
Anaheim Duiken Tauchen (for etymology buffs)
Anaheim Wildwings (for fans of the Mighty Ducks animated series or mascots)
Anaheim Disneys

Or we can go with the potentially unpopular:

Anaheim Team with name who stopped Alfie from getting a cup

speaking of pladapusses... to quote the hilarious Robin Williams: "Ever wonder if God gets stoned once in a while? Take a peek at a pladapuss and tell me...O.k. o.k. I'm going to take a beaver's body *snickering* and give it a duck's bill! oh, wait, it's a mammal, but it also lays eggs!"
