What video game are you playing?

I have an older one, bought it about 5 years ago, and I pretty much used it primarily to play poker. Haven't played it in over a year or so now.

I'm desperate to find a PS3 MMORPG.

Since I finished Infamous and God Of War II I'm left feeling meh with the recent releases. I hear Portal is good, but I'll be honest I get my butt kicked by oodles of kids each night playing MAG or COD Black Ops.

MAG is sort of like a MMORPG, and I hear DC Universe is decent, but leveling is very quick and there are lots of glitches. ANyone hear anything about a true MMORPG for the PS3 or due to the type of game system it is, (IE unilke PC) it's not likely to happen.

You may be interested in Final Fantasy 14 then 22, its a MMORPG, has to have a paid subscription though I believe, unlike other PS3 games. If any of you guys are on the PSN and want to play sometime, provided we have any matching games lol, my PSN id is Kratos17nb or Kratos71nb, for the life of me, I just drew a blank and have no freaking clue, pretty sure its the first one though, I never talk to myself on the PSN lol. I finally got Black Ops, not very good at playing online, way more deaths than kills, but am always up for playing, and if I could ever figure out how to get my bluetooth headset working, might be able to take advantage of that as well.

Not mocking it at all. I just bought my wife the Wii about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I finally scored a turkey last weekend.

The Wii is fun and all, but there is no way to explain it's extreme lack of features (HDMI, DD sound, storage, etc).

Some of the games are awesome though. Mario Kart, FTW.

360 w/250GB drive is on sale for $199 at Future Shop til June 5th.

Tempting to get it at that price but not sure what I'd do with it since I have a PS3 already.

Anyone here have both consoles ? Worth it ?

If you're a pretty hard core gamer it's worth it. My brother is always buying consoles for their exclusive games and features.

I've been buying a lot of PSP game recently. That system is the best.

I bought the other Untold Legends game because the first one was sick, NAMCO Arcade Greatest Hits,

Great fun this little PSP thing.

Depends what games you like. There's a few PS3-specific titles that garner a lot of hype - Uncharted, Gods of War...

XBox has Halo, Gears of War.... PS3 is also a Blu-Ray player, though, which is awesome. If you want some of the console-specific titles that XBox offers, then go for it...if not, your PS3 is fine.

I think you can access some online radio too, which is nice.

Wouldn't call myself hard-core by any means. Mostly play "wife friendly" stuff like Rock Band and various adventure-type games on PS3.

I think Fable 2/3 and Alan Wake would be our type of games and anything else like those.
