overconfidence for the first two games which turned to frustration during game 2,3,4 especially after they were shut out in game 2

Well, don't think anyone is surprised the Bruins have woken up and brought their game tonight.

SOGs 29-11, score 3-0...now how the Canes respond in the third period should be significant.

this is they way the bruins were expected to play the entire series julien called them out after last game publically and they seem to have responded to that

Claude Julien isn't afraid to tell it like it is...to get his team(s) off their butts.

Julien is an excellent coach.

Three Canes in the box now...and Ryder getting called to make it a 4x4...so, nasty it is...

...and this might be turning into the opposite of what we saw in Raleigh the other night.

Which only makes the series more interesting.

--Ryder, Kessel, Savard: O Brother, Where Art Thou?
--Milan Lucic has to remember this is hockey, not UFC
--team defense is not just a concept; B's aren't executing, Canes are
--Maurice and Francis are two of the smartest coaches in the NHL right now
--Thomas is floundering
--Ward is playing like the Cup Champion he is

Kessel 2 goals tonight savard 2 assists
lucic so far 0 penalty minutes 1 assist +2 2 hits
team as been solid defensively
thomas is playing awesome tongiht many big saves
Maurice and Francis can't get the troops moving tonight (they'll have to adjust next game)
bruins have finally put the rubber behind ward

You are correct on all counts...the Bruins have a 360-degree turn in the play tonight.

Again, you would have been surprised if they had done otherwise.

And don't forget...the Canes shut the Bs out 3-0 in Boston in Game Two.

Payback is part of Julien's mindset.

Some of Boston fans expose themselves as morons...littering the ice with garbage.

Yes, but players can be seriously injured....

The New York Rangers' Rod Gilbert wrecked his back when his skate hit some debris that had been thrown onto the ice by a fan and his career was severely compromised.

BTW seems to me I read something earlier on this thread from someone who seemed to be suggesting Zdeno Chara was a 'playoff choker'...

probably was saying that based on his last two games which weren't his best he was a -5 those games but he rebounded in a big way tonight
