definitely in terms of Canada, because an invitation to the 2010 Olympics will be based on his play in this tourney.

IMO the Sens aswell... Murray will be watching to see how Spezz does and will want to see somme good solid play from him before his NTC kick's in!

SensFan71 wrote:Murray is going to have one busy off season in that case, he will be able to see Heater again too, but this time without Nash or Getzlaf, this way to see if it was Heater doing it, or if was more the play of the other too (meaning Heater was being carried to an extent) The same could be said for Fisher, but he will be more of a energy/checking role on this team canada.

Don't forget that guys like Nash will be out of the playoffs by the time this tourney starts. Good news for Team Canada, but not great news for the Shannon's of the world.

But depending on the results of a lot of these first rounds, there could be a lot of new talent available.
If both the Sharks and Flyers are eliminated, for example, youve now got Thornton, Marleau, Carter and Richards as centremen (among others).
Then there's talent depending on the winner of Calgary/Chicago, as well as if the Blues lose, and pretty much every other series.

I'm just saying that there's potentially a tonne of talent available after the end of the first round.
