is it panic time in the Shark Tank yet? Heading to the pond against the killer ducks?

Not to mention, for Anaheim to take both home games away from the Sharks is NO small feat at all and should they REALLY trounce the Sharks in Game #3 at the Honda centre, LOOK OUT!!

Plus, how long until we see the age-old habits or antics of Pronger come out?! Seeing how he and Cheechoo were going at it, I figured Cheechoo better keep his head up at ALL times...

Cheechoo scored a wicked goal last night...they need more of those.

Pronger is Pronger...some fans may not like him but there isn't a coach who wouldn't want him on his blueline. Prongerzilla's been very effective for the Quack Pack.

Oh I'm not necessarily bashing Pronger DTR (although when he elbowed McAmmond I wasn't too pleased) because you're right, he is very effective; I was merely pointing out that something could develop between those two fellas shortly if the pressure cooker continues to heat up!

Nasty is an understatement. Thats exactly the kind of player Ottawa needs either up front or on the back end. Someone the other teams are afraid to play against and have to keep their head up at all times.

Ducks might be the hardest team in the league to play against, and when things get tight, the Ducks get better. They are a true playoff team.

I think Anaheim's first line coupled with Pronger and NIedermayer is the best Major 5 in the league. I noticed that, last night, SJ's 1st line was dominated by that line, and Pavelski's line dominated Anaheim's second line.

You said it perfectly...and of course, the Ducks have a Cup to prove it.

Scott Neidermayer has become the best D-man in the league (again), which should but the fear of God into the West (and perhaps the East).

I don't even think it's very close.

1.Neidermayer
2.Keith
3.Chara

These are the grand poo-bahs of the bluelines right now.

Pronger is a sick, sick player. Diddle me, I want that guy. Stand in the West you diddler!! :$$:

WAKE THE Diddle UP JOE THORNTON AND CO.

Fine, Anaheim is tough to play against. San Jose has massive firepower and defence. Use it. Nabokov is top 10 in goaltenders IMO. Play like you damn well can. There is no excuse to being down 2-zip in this series. None!

Simple fact is Ducks have played outstanding defense, opportunistic offense and Hiller has been near-perfect.

This is playoff hockey where each increment, each mistake, each momentum swing is critical.

Pronger and Pavelski put it in perspective:

"I don't think we're surprised," Pronger said. "I think we match up pretty well with San Jose, and on the other side, they're probably saying the same thing. We were fortunate to get some breaks and get some leads. Jonas has been great, and our specialty teams have been good."

"There's no panic," Pavelski said. "I've been on enough teams that have gone into something like this, and you can come out of it just as easy."

Another great game coming up...hope some more of our members stay up to watch it.

cool)

that is to test your resolve and dedication Caissie, I remember those days when at NBCC in Moncton, either playoff hockey or the bar was calling during exam time.

This series is just getting going too caissie. I don't think it'll be done until the dying moments of Game 7. Tons more to come (I think).

If they lose tonight, there will be a lot of really, really pissed Sharks fans. They're already beside themselves calling for Thornton, Marleau, Nabokov (?) etc. to be traded.
