wow...Brodeur wandered outside of his crease and Jokinen bumped him...incidental contact...hoohoo...

Resch is going on and on about this one..."I'm not being a homer about this, I'm being a goalie..." Come on, Chico...game's over.

I have never seen anything like that in my life. Diddle me upside down that was cool as Dung. 0.2 seconds left. Unreal.

If you don't want contact, stay in your crease Brodeur.

Devils are another team with a tonne of experience. I wouldn't get too worried about it. They'll be focused for Game 5.

you are so right heater but in the end there is nothing in the rules that allows to hit goalies when they are out of their crease... i recall marty turco hipchecking ryan smyth two or three years ago and smyth got the penalty...so from that point marty has right to be upset but i do agree if he wants to avoid hits stay in the blue paint

I wasn't really listening, but apparently McKenzie was talking about it being legal.

Meh...whatever. Some crazy Dung either way!!!!1

Yeah...Marty Brodeur knows the rules...and he more than anyone knows how far they can be bent. After all, he's on the NHL Competition Committee LOL.

His theatrics at the end were exactly that...he was probably pi$$ed at himself for coming out of his blue paint...he saw Jokinen all the way and was trying for an interference call.

true enough dave and this might get an iffy penalty call against the canes next game just so the refs feel like they evened it out (i am implying a goalie interference penalty call)
