I don't like a 3-0 deficit to the Devils...but...anything can happen.

from what tsn original is saying the devils are hard on the forecheck and carolina isnt gettiong as good a chance against marty as one would hope

with marty in net i wouldnt doubt it up 3-0 going into the third i would feel pretty confident in a devils win

now 4-1 halfway through the 3rd

tsn original is playing this now since the caps game is done....dunno if they are going to finish the next 8 minutes or not

Caught segments of this one....

Obviously Lou and Brent had a little chat with the boys before the game.

The result was that the Devils played Devils hockey instead of making deviled eggs--as they had been doing lately.

Brendan Shanahan is one helluva warrior, isn't he? Takes a puck off the kisser and comes back in like nothing happened...you know these guys are going to be hurting in places they didn't even know they had before this series is over...never mind the entire playoff run.

Great effort by the Devs...now things should really heat up.

not really a surprise with the devils winning especially once the had a 3-0 lead but carolina looked flat from the parts i saw....missed the puck off the face from shanahan but it doesnt surprise me he has always been a warrior.... i love the little guy shannon so i thought i would support and his new contract

Should make for an interesting game 2. Carolina was as hot as anyone coming into tonight.

Now they can't simply ride their momentum. I think they'll have a really strong showing in the re-match.

here's hoping they do since the sens are out i just want to see a lot of amazing games

I think both Philly and Carolina will come back with much better games in Game 2.
