Why are you expecting him to win physical battles? Is this your first time watching the team?

Hes had a nice, active stick and has been a major contributor in our improved transition game.

What does that have to do with expectation? You are a hockey player on the ice, doesnt matter if you're a forward, defenseman(especially), offensive or defensive. Its your job to win the battles.

On another note, look how happy Spezza was scoring that goal.

Nice game. Foligno's having a fun time on the 1st PP unit, eh? I have to say, though, Boston looks sluggish. Chara is playing like he just got out of bed or is looking forward to getting into one.

It has everything to do with expectations. You expecting Brian Lee to be a physical force against a team like the MFing Bruins is just ridiculous.
If you watch this team on a regular basis, then you should know better.

Vermette gets cranked from behind and he's somehow supposed to be in control of his stick when that happens?

Apparently only when you follow through on a shot can you high stick without a penalty

Elliott looked amazing in the shootout.

All and all, a good game by the sens.

I was very pleased with the effort. Loved Elliott in the shootout. Compare with how he did in his first shootout, it was like a different goalie.

Now, I do have one negative. Two, actually, if I count the refs. Why did the Sens shooters keep trying to go glove side? And why didn't anyone try and deke?

Good on Clouston for giving Bell a chance -- he came closest. You think if he was moving a little faster that Thomas would have been backing up faster as well and slid in?

Ah, whatever. That OT was worth it. Even if they did play against a tired opponent. They actually looked like they were having fun.

That was a lot of fun. Not sure why Clouston didn't let Foligno go in the shootout, but overall good effort. Elliot was outstanding, very nice!

Foligno was a beast, Bell was great and I thought Shannon was one shifty little devil.

Please keep Shannon up! He adds a great element to our offence.

Huh. Maybe we could have used that.

Anyway, great game and I'm happy with the effort and comraderie.

I'm just hoping we continue to lose. Looking at that Chara feature -- we need Hedman.

Wow, yeah, words don't describe how good Chara is. Boo hoo hoo.

Elliott was great tonight, made big saves at big times and kept the team in it. They responded. Foligno was awesome. Alfi was solid as well. Great game by Bell and Shannon looked good, he's just so small it hurts his game.

Good overall effort by the Sens, but again, Elliott was the difference between it being a game and a blowout tonight. It could have gone either way and good on the Sens for responding.
