These guys get paid millions of dollars to do what they do, and it is the fans that pay their way. If you can't play because you're injured, fine. At least show up and be respectful/thankful that fans voted you in. They deserve to be suspended without pay - and the fact they aren't losing any money is Dung.

Who am I to challenge McGuire, but really? where does his family live? I assume they live in Detroit, and if they do, I find it hard to believe that it is the ONLY time he can see his kid's hockey game. It's too bad that he can't see his kids play , but that is one of the sacrifices you make when you choose to be in the NHL.

I'm with you on this one, Lidstrom has more then paid his dues to the fans... The need to add a seniority rule, after 5 All-Star apperences, attendence is not mandatory.
