Bang on dude.

My feeling has ALWAYS been this: Is Price good? The answer is an obvious YES!
Does he deserve the praise of being Jesus Price or whatever the habs fans call him? For me, until he has a cup ring, I say NO.

Price is good, there's NO disputing that, but he's STILL YOUNG, and we've ALL seen what happens when he buckles under pressure, but with a few more years of NHL experience under his belt, he MOST definitely is a goalie I will fear and may VERY well hold in the same regard as Today's Brodeur and Luongo, assuming he doesn't suffer a massive setback, i.e. terrible injury, etc...

Or he doesn't collapse due to the pressure he is put under by the media and the fans. I will hold judgement as to whether or not be will be as good as Luongo or Brodeur in the future. I am seeing the makings, so far, of a great goalie but not an elite one.

We'll see what the fans do to the Great Price this year. If they continue to fall as they are and he continues to let in the odd 6 goals a game, they will kill his confidence and desire to play there. I don't know if he's really as cool calm and collected as they say he is...give it time, he will crack and the fans will never let him hear the end of it. It could very well turn out to be a Huet-type of ending for him. Or maybe he'll turn out to be a little more like Ward. Jekyll and Hydeish.

I am more than ready for them to chew him up and spit him out. He
would be a good partner for Elliott. They have a real love for him but they turn on a dime. I have witnessed this at the Bell Centre. Not nice!! I wonder how long they will let the losing continue before they throw Halak between the pipes.

All jokes aside, I still remember that post-game interview he gave when he was crying and sobbing like a baby... It was pathetic, young or not, my romanian Grandmother would have a stroke if she ever saw me crying in public unless it was a funeral for my wife, father, mother or (god forbid) my children.

Seriously though, remember the opening series with Boston... Game 4 methinks...Price had a VISIBLE breakdown in that game. 3-4 goals in under 6 mins, 2 of them were weak ones even GERBS would have had... I know he's still young, but I guarantee you EVERY SINGLE player saw that series and took notes on how to: 1) rattle price to his core; and then 2) reap the rewards...

Or maybe the book is out on these soft pansy-Donkey chumps. If the powerplay struggles, so do the Habs. End of story.

All I can say is...a good performance against a crappy Sens team at the time - sandwiched around two straight 6 goal outings is a recipe for disaster.

We saw what Habs fans did to O'Byrne last night taunting him, it can be a lot worse for a goalie.

Better save those tears Price, you may need them soon enough.

Besides, what are the odds the Habs can beat the Bruins if they meet in the playoffs? Or the Flyers?

100-1? That sounds about right. Name of facet of the Bruins game that isn't as good - or a lot better.

They're looking silly not retaining Streit right now...if he even wanted to stay (debatable).

Boston is a team to watch, no doubt. I don't think the habs could take them in the playoffs.
