Pierre McGuire said this morning that because Lemieux missed several games after the Graves slash, Graves was suspended for 4 games even after playing the next game.

Why isn't it the same thing here?

He was basically suspended for one game by being kicked out.

Ceci... esssh, tough call. He had a really rough night but you can't pull the plug after game 1 for him. Cowen would add an element into this series I think and despite Wiercioch's 2 assists last night putting Cowen in with this type of series on the horizon could be a smart move.

No need to panic but they need to adjust.

I dunno but I think if they were really biased they would have not given Subban the major and a game misconduct.

BM confirming microfracture and ligament damage. Also revealed that Subban threatened Stone twice in this manner in the minutes before this happened.

The league should have waited to learn more and then moved accordingly. As it it, the next game is going to be a mess if nothing changes. Players will take justice into their own hands if they think the league has failed to.

We can punish Subban ourselves, but now we'll have the book thrown at us for anything that looks like revenge. You can just admit the NHL messed this up, it's pretty obvious.

The unfortunate thing now is that our players might be distracted from the real issue at hand of trying to win a game.

Best way to beat the Habs... run Price through the boards. Simple. Throw game 2 if you have to and make sure Price doesn't come baclk.

AK47 said it best in his instructional video: "You handle the distractions, you score the goals."

In all honesty... if Greening was up to it I would put him in there just to hurt someone but I question if that's in his character.

The nice part about the Sens run is if they lose this series I honestly don't care and the season is considered beyond a success. Make sure the Habs can barely tie a skate if they happen to make it past round 1.
