It just nice to have two lines going at the same time. And it's also nice that it's Pageau instead of smith. At least those lines can score from time to time.

Pageau is so overrated lol. He's a good bottom 6 guy but people need to stop thinking he's gonna be a scorer

Most consistent scorer from the bottom 6 is Chris Neil.

You should be happy with a 4th line that can win the puck in their own zone and take it to the offensive zone for a whistle and a face off for the skilled lines.

I don't see how losing smith and adding Pageau has translated into extra scoring. Not sure where you get that?

He'll be a guy that quietly goes about things, finds a way to get 35-50 points in any given year and score some big goals at big times and play on special teams. Almost like a Johnson type player.

If you're not joking, you didn't see the whole game.

I didn't see much from Pageau in his first game but last night he was on. Hitting everyone in sight, getting chances, drawing a penalty. If he continue like this he'll get some offense, which is more than Smith has done.

Well that's very optimistic of you. 35-50 points means he's not playing with Condra and Greening. I could see him getting 15 goals and 5 assists. 15 goals from a 4th liner is good.

I think he can be a beautiful 3c eventually. Lazar and chiasson on his wings sounds fantastic. Kid hits, he's fast, he clearly has a nose for the net. Beauty little player. 40 point candidate a year IMO.

These top 6 bottom 6 cliches need to end. The reigning Conn Smythe winner is a 0/5 PPG player.

It's not so much the scoring upside as it is consistency and durability. Pageau is a small player and this is a big man sport. Sure there are a few StLouis around but they are very rare. Playing in the bottom six means playing easier minutes and fewer of them. If Pageau played 20 minutes a night against the other team's roughest players he may not last very long.
