Any western conference team (not in Alberta) will be tough for the majority of eastern teams.

Calgary just beat Chicago. Did they move from Alberta recently?

To be fair, Prags, Hiller had to stop 49 shots for that W. It was a bit of a fluke.

Cowen, Condra, and Hoffman likely to be the scratches.
Yeah, we'll find out today. Anderson for sure you gotta think. PMac was mum on the lineup yesterday.

Honestly, one of the reasons those Western teams are so good is that they get to play against some really weak Western teams. A lot. There are some really good teams and some really bad ones and the rest are average.

Dallas and St. Louis are 1-1 against the East, Colorado and Winnipeg are 1-2. LA and Arizona are 2-1, Calgary is 3-2 and Edmonton is 0-3.

From personal experience, when traveling East I did not feel jet lagged until about 4 days into my trip. On the way back I was jet lagged right away. That might play into this a little.

Anyhow, this is the home opener. The Sens have a pretty good record in those. They'll win.

It's a team game and the goalie is part of the team.
