I remember my grandfather telling me stories about WWII. Hard to even fathom what these veterans have been through. They've got all the respect I've got to give.

I am tired after an afternoon of paintball... so I can't even imagine 4 years in Cold Russian Winter with not much food and nowhere to sleep.

Used to visit the Veteran's Hospital in Montreal quite a bit when I played in the Sally Ann band. In some ways those who lost their lives were the lucky ones. I know it's been said a billion times, but war is hell and these guys went through it so we don't have to.

Cherry tweeted that he drove through downtown TO and saw 4 poppies. Disgraceful.
