5-3 Sweden, now, 5 minutes to go in the 2nd.

Wait, PP goal for Z-bad to make it 6-3 now. Same goal as the one-timer he scored in the pre-season.

Apparently his first goal was nearly identical. Good for us.

so the biggest hold up for Stone is his skating? well can't the sens get him into some power skating program? I remember alot of NHLers doing those over the summer.

Yeah, Stone was working out in Ottawa this past summer with their power skating coach. I'm assuming he'll do it again after this season.

I heard he actually did this out of his own pocket. I guess he can't officially get paid in any way while he's still in junior?

You think Zibanejad may have heard that Stone had a hattie? #Competition.

Mac tweets that, although not official, he's hearing that Smith-Pelly's X-rays showed a fracture and he's out of the tournament. Big blow to their physical game.

7-3 Sweden now but no hat-trick yet.

Well, there's the hat-trick. But not Zibanejad. Freiberg.

Zibanejad was out on the 1st PP unit and tried the one-timer again, but not this time.

Freiberg, again. If three goals is a hat-trick, what's 4 goals? We'll have to watch this guy when we play him.

And before anyone asks, injured players at WJC cannot be replaced with non-roster players, except for injured goalies, in which case a reserve goalie may be added.

Well, no double-hat-trick for Sens prospects. Time to blow it up.

Freiberg gets 4 goals but Forsberg gets player of the game honors?

Huh? He scored the 3rd goal. It's 3-1 after 1.

My mistake, but it happened anyway. Sarcasm

The Russians scare me. Kuznetsov is a beast, Grigorenko is so calm and slick, and Yakupov is incredibly explosive. Plenty of other talents up front too. Forward is definitely their strength, though. And I don't know if they have the same leadership and resiliency sans Tarasenko.

I love the way Zibby's shooting the puck but for Sweden against the top teams I think he's gotta do more in terms of carrying the puck and beating players. He's got Hossa-esque ability but it's a mental thing for him.

Jonas Brodin looks awesome, though. Looks like another OEL.

Diddle Spezza gotta need to play with Stone. That one timer is a thing of beauty. Damn it's fast.
Huberdeau is something else. If anyone wants Couturier over this guy i'd laugh.
