Me likey. How dangerous is that 3rd line? Very sneaky. No one will see it coming. The fourth is a scoring threat as well. I really like that lineup. (Though I think we could easily make an argument in favour of Z-Bad in Regin's spot.)

^ You're never getting Zibanejad out of that lineup - unless he sucks in his 9 games, but really...can you see that happening?

Yeah he was just saying you could switch up the lines and have Zibanejad as the 2nd line center, but not saying to take him out of the lineup.

I just figured he was ideal as a PWF type player.

I still wonder who sits though. I realize there will be injuries, but when everyone's healthy, who sits?

Since we're not making those decisions, I don't really think it matters. Smile

Nothing we say in here really matters...that wasn't really what I meant.

Wouldn't Regin then just go to the wing?

Who ever deserves to sit.

Butler, Greening, Condra, Winchester, Regin, Foligno, they all have their one ways, they get the big pay checks no matter what now. If they are not pulling their weights, they sit, very, very simple.

I personally wouldn't want Greening, Condra or Butler sitting almost at all. They're young, all three of them are apparently really hard workers, if we sit them, that means they're going through some tough times and we'll want to play them through that.

I know what you mean, but remember this isn't the 'country club' it once was.

EDIT: Mind you..you could sit these guys and continue working with them in practices until you see what you want out of them (ie. burying the damn puck for Butler).

Not to suggest Greening is in the same place as those guys - but Spezza needs some room to operate out there.

That's Heatley you are talking about me thinks Smile

Yep. Forget I said anything.

Yeah, Spezza was banished to the 4th line wasn't he? Wink

That's hilarious. Especially since his name is in plain site on that picture.

Where's Winchester? Or did I miss a trade somewhere? Also I thought Regin injured his shoulder? I'd say any one of Foligno, Konopka, Greening or Condra would likely sit if we're fully healthy though. I wouldn't rule out Regin sitting either if he regresses like last season too.

I've spelled his name wrong a couple times. Of course, it's not my JOB to write headlines. It is really hilarious that his name is right in the picture…this just reeks of another Sportsnet EPIC FAIL. How they consistently manage to be horrible is a mystery. Do some of the Leafs management also manage the network?

Winchester is injured, as is Regin as you mentioned. But Regin may not miss too much time, whereas Winchester is out for quite a while IIRC.
