Kabanov traded

Moncton Wildcats have traded controversial Russian Winger, Kirill Kabanov, to the Lewiston MAINEiacs.

The talented winger has had much controversy follow him surrounding his attitude. Kabanov was selected in the 2nd round (65th overall) of the 2010 NHL draft by the New York Islanders.

This kid is just going to suck. I hate his attitude, very pleased we didn't make a mistake in picking him up.

Make a mistake? He was a second (or third) rounder I believe, not much risk from the Isles point of view.

I think this is a great move for him and his development.
