What do you think the deal will be? He'd like to play for Sweden in 2010, so perhaps a 3 year deal?

I think 3 years would be the best option...

He makes around 5.5 right now right? I think around the same or even 6 million... You have to keep this guy, you definitely cannot let him go... Alfie has always been a stand up person, and I really can't see him being to hard to please, and I'm also pretty sure the organization would basically give him what he wants... This is a no-brainer in my opinion... YOU HAVE TO SIGN THIS GUY!! LOL

I don't think he won't re-sign, there's no doubt he wants to stay here. What he's making and his cap-hit are two different things. His cap hit is 4.45 or something.

Selanne signed for just over 2... but I don't think we get a deal like that. I'm thinking anywhere from $5-to-$6.5... for 2 or 3 years.

Yeah if we could get a deal like the one that was given to Selanne that would be great.. But I think that is asking a little too much! LOL
