Wow.

Yeah really. Although, I think it's more that they simply don't want Turco back no matter what.

It's as big of a gamble as the Sens took on Leclaire.

Yeah I thought so as well although Lehtonen seems to be a pretty good goalie when he's healthy.

Leclaire just plain sucks and he's always injured to boot.

Wow.

This is a team that finished well back of contending. It's not like they could do much worse I suppose.

I still think Marty has something left in the tank. He played much better once Lehtonen arrived. I still seeing him as a #1 somewhere ....

I hear Philadelphia could use a goalie....every year.

Really? I thought they'd be content with their tandem of Brian Boucher and Sebastien Caron .... Turco done in Dallas - Page 2 489887

Bigger maybe because they don't have a Brian Elliott.

I don't like this move by Nieuwendyk. It's very unclassy in my opinion. Have the Stars even cleaned out their lockers yet? Show the guy some respect for all his years of service by giving him time to decompress from the season before announcing that you are dropping him like 3rd period French.

I'd like to see Turco in Ottawa next season backing up Elliott. It would be a great way to push Elliott to be even better. The only thing is that I can't see him being a back up with some teams looking to improve their goaltending. Its a shame TB fired the GM so soon. Maybe Murray could have pulled the wool over their eyes one more time and ship Leclaire there for a decent pick.

If Laclair is to be moved, Edmonton should be the team that takes him.
