New Affiliate - WhatIfSports by FOX Interactive

Good morning all GMH members:

We have just recently become affiliated with a FOX Sports Interactive owned website. They have over half a million members and they do SIM Leagues for all the major sports. It's a very interesting concept. You can do things like SIM the '76 Habs vs. the '92 Penguins several hundred times and see who comes out on top more often than not. You can build your own team with Gretzky, Orr, Rocket Richard, Sawchuck and so on.

We have provided them a space on our scrolling affiliates on the main opening page of GMHockey.com in exchange for them posting our GMH Banner (160 X 600 - So not tiny at all) on the Hockey forum portion of their website.

The site is free to join but just to let you know in advance there are many parts of the site that will cost you money to take part in. I have been emailing back and forth with Michael in Marketing and he's offered to provide GMH members with a promo code in order to try the site out for free. I will post it here once it becomes available.

Finally and most importantly the site is called WhatifSports.com - The banner on the main portal page simply says SIM League Hockey which is the banner provided to me by Michael. You can access it by simply clicking on the image just like all of our other affiliates.

I need someone to provide me with an image link URL for our banner that is 160 X 600.

I mean the current banner logo we have is too large for our affiliate. The want one that is 160 pixels by 600 pixels. I want to be able to have them post the banner and if someone runs their cursor over the image they can click on it and it sends them to GMHockey.com.

Does that make more sense?

I've been saying that forever. The logo looks good but it's too big; it takes 1/4 to 1/2 of the frickin' page.

I can resize it if you like to 160x600, but the coding to make it clickable lies with them. They just have to embed it as a link and point the url to this website.

If you want I can email you the re-sized picture.

BTW, Thanks to Prages we have the smaller banner up on the main page. Now all I need is the Sky Scraper banner which should prove more challenging.

Don't worry about it. I sent it off to them. I'll let them fix it if they don't like it.

I just had to try to recreate it using the text that was there, because resizing it distorted the image. I also made a logo a while back and forgot about it. It's kind of tacky lol.
