Good, if theres anything good about Volchie's injury is that is shows how much he is needed on this team. Murray better not screw this resigning up!

Toward the end of the PK, one of the Sens players got dumped in front of the Oilers goal. No call. Hmm, very familiar.

I love A-Train, and I'm being a bit of a Devil's Advocate, but next year take take two of Campoli, Picard and Lee out, and replace with Cowen and Karlsson. Maybe even take all of them out and add Wiercioch.

I'm not saying that Cowen can replace Volchenkov right away, but you've got to admit if we did the swap right now we probably wouldn't even be having this discussion. And next year they'll only be one year more experienced and stronger.

Imagine the team with Volchie AND Cowen. Our D will get better but I'm a firm believer that the pairing of Phillips and Volchenkov will always be a big part of it. Also, Cowen can def use a mentor like Volchie on the ice in his first few years
