Impressive the way, even down 0-2, the Hurricanes are sticking with their game plan...they are very tenacious and disciplined.

Gonchar looks like he has regained sufficient mobility to be his usual efficient self...though I imagine there has been some serious help from the doctors...

These matches remind me of contests between the great welterweight boxers...Hagler...Hearns...Leonard. Speed...skill...feints and punches...and blows landed without warning.

To be fair, Crosby did set up Guerin for that ridiculous chance/subsequent save by Ward.

Also, Crosby seems to turn it up a notch when there's a need. The team jumped out to a 2-0 lead, so no need for heroics. Yet.

Nice for the Pens to get a win to start the series, but the Canes did lose Game 1 to the Bruins. Did they lose the first against the Devils? If so, this may not be such a great advantage.

Although I suppose it's always better than losing home-ice advantage.
