The Hawks don't know what they are in for. That's actually a good thing for them, but it won't be enough.

Luongo won't be rusty. All they need to do is survive the first couple of shifts (check) and the first PK (check). It won't be a cake walk, but the Canucks shall prevail.

the nucks have had almost 2 weeks off they arent going to be able to play the top of their game it has been shown by many teams in the past but they have done a good job of surviving....they do need to try and take less penalties if they want to win i doubt they can keep the hawks off the board on the pp as well asthey did to the blues

Can't take a penalty 10 seconds after killing a double. Penalty killers had nothing left.

pretty even game so far...in most departments but the Hawks penalties have worked against them.

1-0 Nucks from a PP goal...can't give them those.

It looks like the Blackhawks have a jump in their step that the Canucks haven't found yet.

The second period could very well change the fortunes of this game.

I would agree with that assessment.

Each team is trying to establish its game...and the middle frame is key.

2-0. Bobby Lou held them long enough to get their legs. Now they've almost caught up in shots on goal.

Can't let the Sedins do their thing...good play by Vancouver.

...and can't give the Canucks power plays...

..and the Hawks can't give the Canucks these scoring chances...

Nucks are too skilled.

Not good to be down by 3.
