Who's AHL affiliate is Albany?

They are currently the Hurricanes' affiliate but have been affiliated with Colorado and New Jersey in the past.

it really makes me wonder, with all the travel that professional sports entails, that there aren't more instances of this happening or worse, as a lot of pro teams fly...

to follow up, it's a testament to the safety in the means they travel. Not a lot of bus accidents, not a lot of aircraft incidents

Maybe, but I wouldn't worry about that right now. Keep your thoughts on the 2 players and one employee.
