I was thinking the same. He may want a bridge but my guess is the Sens try to lock him up for 8 x 7.5

In normal times I’d agree with you but looking at what Brady and batherson got I think they lock him up at a bit lower. But maybe not. Let’s see what the rest of the season brings.

I don’t know that he’ll be asking for 8 years either as that would bring him to 30. I think he tries for an 6 or 7 years max so that he can bank heavily on his next contract also.
