As Simmer just tweeted out, Carpe Diem. Seize the Day. One win away from competing for the Cup. For most of these players this will be the first and last time in this position. Make the most of it.

Hornqvist and Schultz may be ready to for the Pens. I doubt there will be any changes to the Sens lineup. Now is not the time for Neil or Boro. Maybe Kelly on for White, if he's only going to play 2 minutes. We'll know it a few hours.

Go Sens Go!!!!!!!

Whomever they play, if it's only 2ish minutes, it really won't matter.

Super nervous about the game. Pens looked very beatable at the start of this series. Now it feels like Anderson will need to steal another game.

Yeah, I feel like it's game stealing time. Obviously, scoring early would help a lot.
I pretty much feel like I'm crossing my fingers on this one.

Yeah, probably the two main factors at play for the Sens here are Anderson being terrific again and being able to score first.

I think we'll see Kelly in for White if only for taking some faceoffs...we were manhandled last game in the faceoff circle.

It would be a minor miracle if we could pull this off.

1.anderson
2.karlsson
3.score first

Those three things need to happen huge

Would it be a miracle? Had you asked me at the beginning on the series I would have said yes. But this is game 7, we did manage some incredible robberies to get here but it's within he realm of possibilities. I wouldn't say it's a 50/50 chance but maybe 25/75?

I kinda figure game 7s are always close to 50/50. One bad call, one good bounce, one giant save, one horrible goal...all things that happen pretty regularly in hockey and all can easily swing a game. Yeah, I'd consider the Sens a bit of an underdog just based on being outplayed the three previous games, but that doesn't seem to matter much right now.

We got this. All the pressure is in Pittsburgh. We've been 5-4 against them this season. Our vets won't let us lose this one

We did a lot of good things last game outside of that second period.  I think the Sens will all be dialed in.  This is still a weakened Pittsburgh team and there's never been a better chance to beat the defending champs than now.

Remember that the Penguins were outplayed by both Columbus and Washington, yet they prevailed, including winning game 7 on the road.

You are correct, the pressure is on the Penguins until the first goal. If they score first the pressure shifts; if Ottawa goes ahead the pressure will be stifling. I know Crosby and Malkin can handle it, but what about the rest? If you ask Pierre he'll tell you Murray can take it, but he also told us all White would be NHL ready in September. Phil doesn't handle pressure very well at all.

Hit Phil. Shoot high at Murray's head. Crowd his crease. Draw Malkin into taking a penalty. Box out Crosby and hit him if the chance presents itself, but stay away from slashing and cross checking.

On my way to Montreal. Won't be driving back until the start of the game. It sucks I won't even have my car flags up (they'd get destroyed at the speed I drive).

White out. Kelly or Wingels will play. My money is on Kelly, simply because he has a ring and he's a PK specialist.

I think it will be Kelly, too. Brassard had not taken a faceoff in games 5 and 6 and was 1 of 8 in game 4. He's definitely got something preventing him from taking draws so we need a LHS center.

Today is Murray's birthday. On Anderson's birthday the Pens have him lots of "presents". Wonder if the Sens will return the favor.
