Zibanejad left off Team Sweden roster. Can't argue with that decision. Hopefully this'll light a fire under his disk-spinning butt.

Isnt he spinning this Summer in Ottawa? (As in on a bike, as in training)
I expect à Much better start from him next year. If he comes out flat because he didn't really train again we may have to explore options.

Yeah Hagelin has really fallen from grace. I like that player.

Didn't realize that Silfverberg is actually 2 years older than Zibanejad (more than 2 years). Mika has baisically outperformed him a little everywhere (NHL, Bingo, international) and has more NHL games (and better PPG) 2 while being 2 years younger.

I would take Silf over ZBad, but just by a smidge at this point. His two way game is excellent. ZBad is close though.

It's not even a debate whether the Sens would take Zibanejad over Silf

I can only think they want a more defensive forward than Zibanejad, because it's really not close offensively and zibanejad is younger.

Zibanejad must have seen that coming and probably why he didn't even play in the world championship. That said, he should feel slighted and I too hope it lights a fire under him.

Umm, what? I'm a big critic of Zibanejad because I feel he can do so much more, but it really is not close. Zibanejad is a center, first of all, he is more than 2 years younger yet has accomplished more in the NHL (more games, more goals, more points, better PPG ratio) playing on a pretty bad team, I might add.

Maybe they took Silfverberg for the inevitable shootouts.

I'm talking about for Team Sweden's roster though.

Mr. Mark Stone left off Canada's roster. Ceci did not make it to North America. And deservedly, Bobby Ryan didn't seem like he was even in contention for USA.

So our lone representative is....Karlsson? Kind of a downer.

I mentioned this before, but having guys in this tourney is actually a negative. Injuries and such. #HasekattheOlympics

A Ceci injury might help us but yeah.

There's not liking a player and then there's this. How would ceci being injured help us in any way? You may have doubts about how good he can be but being injured surely won't help any kind of progress or move
