NFL: Colts to release Peyton Manning today

Presser at noon today to announce the cut. Hard to believe, but it is what it is. Luck is the future in Indy. Where Peyton ends up is the big question. Skins, Jets, Phins, Cards, Browns... who knows.

By all accounts, this is the best move for the Colts.

You have to question Peyton's long-term health, and what impact another injury could have.

Yeah, no doubt. Paying a $28M bonus with those questions is not good business. I thought they may re-structure the contract but I guess they want Luck to be the man right out of the gate.

He'll sign with the Leafs. Everyone wants to play in Toronto, don't you know.

What team has interest AND offers him the best chance of winning? I have a feeling Peyton will want to prove the Colts wrong, and just be concerned about winning, and not $$$.

Broncos would make the most sense. They're a playoff team already, but in need of a QB to take them to that next level. He could do that.

Depends on what they want to do with Tebow.

Miami is an interesting option as well. They are on the upswing and have a bright future.
